How this was measured. Every member URL was requested once with a plain HTTP client, then every failure was re-tested in a real Chromium browser. That second pass cleared 122 sites that the first pass had wrongly flagged, including several large firms that simply block automated traffic. Only failures that survived both passes are counted here.

Where the Chamber is thin

Members against every private business in the same three counties.

SectorMembersBusinesses Share%

How this was measured. Members are placed by county from their geocoded address. Businesses are 2023 private-sector establishments from the Bureau of Labor Statistics QCEW for Lehigh, Northampton and Carbon counties, a free public dataset. Government categories are excluded from both sides, because QCEW's private-sector count has no government in it.
